We are witnessing a record amount of leadership development funding globally. At the same time, there is a record amount of requests for evaluation at the Business Impact and ROI levels. While these two trends go hand in hand (increased investment means more accountability), they present challenges for the leadership development team. Add this to the fact that leadership development continues to fail to deliver results that executives appreciate. Unfortunately, evaluations are stuck at Level 1, 2, and 3 (Reaction, Learning, and Application). Executives want to see more Level 4 and 5 evaluations (Business Impact and ROI), particularly for major programs. This panel will describe these trends with benchmarking studies and show a clear path to design, develop, and execute programs to deliver business value. Participants will see how to connect leadership development to business value and to calculate ROI.
