The Assessment Simulation Experience:
Advantexe’s Assessment Simulations expose participants to various elements of a business environment in the same way that pilots experience realistic flight conditions in a flight simulator.
In each simulation, individuals are assigned a role and make decisions in the context of this role. Through a set of scenarios, they face business challenges and operational situations and react to these issues with the overall goal of improving the condition of the simulated business. Participants are measured against a predetermined competency set specifically crafted for their role in the assessment simulation.
A typical assessment simulation is 60-75 minutes in length and covers 20-30 scenarios. Each scenario has multiple ties to the competency matrix, and the results are provided in the Gap Map™.
Simulation Overview:
Advantexe’s Assessment Simulations measure core competencies such as skills in leadership, finance, marketing, and sales. Each simulation is customized to your business environment and captures the business interactions your employees encounter every day. Scenarios are constructed and storylines are written to test how participants will react to key business situations and to identify areas in which they need further support and development.
Measurement:
In addition to real-time output of data in a Gap Map™, results are measured on an aggregate basis for detailed analysis. This provides valuable insight into organizational competencies by function, department, location, or virtually any other category. Results are customized to meet the specific needs of your organization.
Deployment:
Assessment simulations can be deployed through a Learning Management System (LMS) or a central server, in an “Assessment Lab”, or from a participant’s desktop computer. As part of the design and development process, Advantexe develops a deployment strategy with you.
