Joanna Yeoh is a Senior Consultant with Advantexe Learning Solutions based in Asia. In this capacity Joanna is responsible for leading Business Leadership client engagements, developing new clients, and content development.
In addition to her work with Advantexe, Joanna is the founder of Five Talents Consulting based in Singapore. Joanna Yeoh is recognized as a OD & Change practitioner with over 16 years of consulting and corporate HR experience. Joanna is passionate about the development of leaders in Asia and strives to deliver results through people by keeping solutions simple, implementable and tangible.
Joanna began her career as a Management Consultant with Arthur Andersen, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Shell Global Solutions. For over nine years, she led projects delivering HR Transformation, Change Management, Organisation Development, Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) and Project Management across various industries including consumer products, energy trading, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals and professional services.
When she joined Genting Highlands Resort as Vice President of Human Resources in 2003, Joanna was responsible for Recruitment, Compensation & Training at Malaysia’s leading resort with a staff strength of over 9000 employees. She also led the development and implementation of the Management Trainee Program, E-recruitment, Balanced Scorecard and Competency Framework.
In 2007, Joanna was appointed Head of Organizational & Leadership Development for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in Asia. Based out of Singapore, she designed and implemented leadership development programs for over 250 Managers across AMD’s research, manufacturing and sales operations in Asia. She was also transferred to Shanghai in 2008 to build up the learning & development teams in China.
Joanna graduated with an MBA (Distinction) from the University of Birmingham in England, which she attained on a British Council Chevening scholarship in 1996. In addition, Joanna is also a certified practitioner in Myers Briggs Type Indicator, LIFO (Life Orientations) and Hay Evaluation instruments.
Joanna is currently based in Singapore, and has lived and worked in Australia, UK, USA, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and South Korea.
