**How it works!**

The Pharmaceutical Business Acumen program is a virtual learning experience that introduces learners to new business and financial acumen topics.  At the heart of the program is a cloud-based digital business simulation called Agenius. In much the same way a pilot hones skills in a flight simulator, the business simulation helps your employees build skills by running the daily operations of a fictitious business.

**About the Simulation**

In the simulation, learners take over as the management team for a struggling pharmaceutical company named Agenius Pharmaceuticals.  Learners make day-to-day operational business decisions to help the company achieve goals and grow shareholder value. 

The simulation illustrates the process of how money flows into and out of a business. Learners better understand how they affect the business by understanding financial statements, business metrics that matter, and other big data points that can help drive the success of the business.
