How it works

Advantexe’s Business Acumen 101 is a series of web-based micro-eLearning modules. These modules quickly build the knowledge and skills needed to understand how a company makes money.

Through engaging videos and numerous review check-points users easily absorb the information and monitor their own progress. The modules are designed so users can move at their own pace, stop and resume as desired, and receive ideas for next steps on their business acumen learning journey based on how well they answer the review questions.

Introduction to the Income Statement - two-part course takes a deep dive into every major line item on this tool to understand how it supports sound financial management and improved decision making

Introduction to the Balance Sheet – explores the basic structure and meaning of this financial management tool, and discusses the role it plays in understanding a company’s working capital

Introduction to EBITDA – overview of what EBITDA is, and how and why it is used to measure the performance of a business
