Strategic Relationship Manager  

Advantexe’s Strategic Relationship Manager (SRM) is responsible for the day-to-day management of a group of strategic accounts.  The core focus of the SRM is developing strong relationships with customers and identifying new areas of business. The SRM will act as a trusted advisor to clients, managing any potential issues or challenges as well as working with internal teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities. The position reports to the Vice President of Sales and will require 20-30% travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and expanding existing global client relationships across a multiple industries by uncovering client needs and exploring innovative learning solutions
  • Partnering with clients to support them in executing their learning solutions
  • Dealing with all account related issues that may arise
  • Being the face of the company to Advantexe clients
  • Finding and obtaining new clients within strategic accounts and territory
  • Attending trade shows, networking events, and industry events
  • Nurturing and following up on marketing leads
  • Achieving account sales targets and goals
  • Giving sales presentations to high-level executives
  • Working with senior management to develop proposals including initial pricing
  • Providing feedback for improvement and market research to senior staff and product development teams
  • Negotiating contracts and close agreements  
  • Developing statement of works (SOW)
  • Preparing reports on account status
  • Collaborating with account executives to identify and grow opportunities  
  • Managing day-to-day client and prospect communications

Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
  • Strong experience with CRM software, Salesforce.com and HubSpot a plus
  • Deep understanding of social selling and social selling tools
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
  • Must have attended a formal sales training program
  • Three to five years sales experience
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and time management, with ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment without supervision
  • Some travel required

This job is based in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania (outside of Philadelphia).  All travel and miscellaneous expenses are reimbursed in full including mileage for use of personal automobile.  Advantexe provides a generous healthcare insurance plan.
