About Jim Brodo

WHAT I DO AT ADVANTEXE?

I am Chief Marketing Officer at Advantexe. I am focused on creating innovative marketing and communication strategies, tactics, and information sources across digital and traditional mediums that provide insight and value for our clients and prospects.

WHAT DRIVES ME IN MY WORK?

The changes in buyer behavior due to rapid growth of digital technologies. Today, marketing and sales have to overcome traditional the barriers and become completely aligned to focus on the buyer’s journey. What drives me in my work is a focus on mapping the buyer’s journey to a marketing structure and a clear sales process so all communications are in sync and the sales teams are effectively enabled to assist our clients in achieving their desired goals.

 KEY ACHIEVEMENTS WITH ADVANTEXE?

I have only been with Advantexe a short time, but putting in place an infrastructure so our clients can better access our expertise in business leadership, business acumen training, and business simulation development.

FAVORITE PART ABOUT WOKING AT ADVANTEXE?

Love the business simulations. Having been away from business simulations for so long, I forgot what a powerful tool they are for learning. For new skills to stick, learners need a platform to be able to practice and practice and practice until it becomes natural and intuitive. Simulations provide the platform for learners to test new ideas, innovate, and lead without the stress and risks of the real world.

WHY I COME TO WORK?

Seeing the “a ha moment” for participants.  There is nothing better when the light goes on and the learner “gets it”. There has not been one program I have attended where a participant hasn't said to me afterward, "Now I get it. I understand how my decisions affect other departments and the financial performance of my company.”

FAVORITE RESTAURANT AND MEALS IN THE WORLD?

I am pretty simple when it comes to food. I would have to say my “go-to” would be the Jug Handle in Jersey for Wings.
