About Marianne Morris
WHAT I DO AT ADVANTEXE?
I am Chief Instructional Design Officer at Advantexe. In this role, I architect learning solutions ranging from bite-sized, on-demand e-learning modules and micro-simulations to complex, multi-day, multi-modal curriculums for in-person, virtual, and blended delivery to help our clients meet their business goals.
WHAT DRIVES ME IN MY WORK?
I am passionate about creating learning that helps people, teams, and companies improve. I am energized by the challenge of designing the right learning solution for each client, ensuring that what we deliver will move the needle for the company in terms of both skill development and business results.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS WITH ADVANTEXE?
It’s a toss-up between (1) partnering with some of our largest clients to create bespoke simulations aligned exactly with their objectives and (2) developing several off-the-shelf solutions and seeing them successfully deployed across a wide variety of industries in our courses and our clients’ own programs.
FAVORITE PART ABOUT WORKING AT ADVANTEXE?
Using digital technology to develop learning. Our cloud-based simulations, skill practice exercises, and tools are highly engaging and extremely powerful in terms of knowledge transfer and skill development. Once you’ve seen the impact of scenario-based simulations, there’s no going back to traditional learning.
WHY I COME TO WORK?
To collaborate with our talented team and our industry-leading clients to produce innovative, on-point learning solutions – if we can dream it, we can build it!
FAVORITE RESTAURANT AND MEALS IN THE WORLD?
My go-to is a seafood restaurant called Pescatore, right around the corner from my home in Bala Cynwyd, PA.
